Dermal fillers (hyaluronic acid)
Hyaluronic acid is a water-binding molecule that occurs naturally in the body. It can be used for lip volume and symmetry, lip contour and lines at the corners of the mouth. Results are not permanent; the filler is gradually absorbed. Dr. Dt. Mehmet Fuat Bozaba has completed Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler training at Sahra Academy.
- Not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active infection in the treatment area or in certain systemic diseases,
- Short-term swelling, redness and bruising may occur,
- The treatment is carried out following a dentist’s examination, with licensed products and within the applicable regulations.
Aesthetic tooth-coloured fillings (composite bonding)
Small chips on the front teeth, gaps between teeth (diastema), discolouration and shape irregularities can be corrected in a single session with tooth-coloured composite resin. It is applied without drilling the tooth or with minimal preparation; for more extensive changes, zirconia or laminate veneers are considered. For a good colour match, teeth whitening may be recommended first.
A holistic approach to smile aesthetics
A beautiful smile is achieved by assessing white aesthetics (teeth), pink aesthetics (gums) and lip–face harmony together. Excess gum tissue can be treated with periodontal contouring, and a muscle-related gummy smile with Botox.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a lip filler take?
The procedure itself is usually short; how long the result lasts depends on the product and the individual.
Does bonding change colour?
Over time, composite can pick up stains from tea, coffee and smoking; regular polishing and check-ups help maintain its appearance.
