What treatments does a periodontal specialist provide?
- Treatment of gum disease: scaling, deep cleaning (subgingival curettage, root planing) in gingivitis and periodontitis and, when needed, flap surgery.
- Gum recession treatment: covering exposed root surfaces with connective tissue grafts, the tunnel technique and coronally advanced flaps.
- Aesthetic gum surgery: gummy smile, gingivectomy, crown lengthening and frenectomy.
- Implant surgery: single-tooth implants, All-on-4, All-on-6 and same-day implants.
- Bone and soft tissue augmentation: bone grafts, sinus lifts, membrane applications.
- Peri-implantitis treatment: controlling inflammation around the implant and preserving the implant.

- Non-surgical treatment, re-evaluation after 6–8 weeks, surgery if necessary,
- Supportive periodontal therapy (maintenance) every 3–6 months.
